The major purpose of this study was to assess the impact of overall job satisfaction on service quality in the higher education. Specifically, the study examined the relationship between the overall job satisfaction and service quality as perceived by the graduate students via the organizational outcomes including organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Data was collected from 219 graduate students in the graduate school of physical education from 10 schools with convenience sampling method. Data was analyzed through descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation model, and bootstrapping using SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0. Results from the SEM indicated that the overall graduate students` job satisfaction was positively correlated to all organizational outcomes such as organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior and the overall service quality as perceived by the graduate students directly. Further, the two organizational outcomes were positively correlated with the overall service quality as perceived by the graduate students. In the relationship between the overall job satisfaction and service quality via the organizational outcomes, both organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior partially mediated the relationship between the overall job satisfaction and service quality.
