The purpose of the study is to explore fundamental solutions and restoration of financial and psychological stability through the exercises that anyone can easily practice, and to analyze self-consciousness of pain, posture, muscle strength and flexibility, during the head backward inclination. The subjects of the study were 50 males and females of 10-50 years old who suffered from neck pain but did not show any abnormalities in scientific or x-ray examinations. The exercises were practiced twice a day for 15 minutes that lasted for 4 weeks. Measurements were performed 5 times as a total: before the exercise, 1 week after, 2 weeks after, 3 weeks after and 4 weeks after the exercise. The results of the study are as follows: 1) As for self-consciousness of pain, posture (HOX), muscle strength (flexion muscle strength), flexibility (forward flexion, backward flexion), significant difference was shown only in the time item. 2) Muscle strength (extension muscle strength), significant difference was shown in time/periods and gender. According to the summary of the results in the above, self-consciousness of pain, posture, muscle strength and flexibility during the head backward inclination were improved. As most elements were improved, it was demonstrated that the exercise can be effectively used to improve pain, posture, muscle strength and flexibility for patients with neck pain. It is also proposed that the exercise can offer effective basic data for prevention and management of neck pain because the results were shown significantly in both males and females.
