The purpose of this study was to obtain the equating standard error of scores from the cardiovascular respiratory endurance. The test scores were collected with employing 2275 male students and 2191 female students in high school and to present the methods of explaining the result after equating. The equating standard error of linear equating and unsmoothing·smoothing equipercentile equating was analyzed and verified using Equating Error program for Macintosh. For the comparison of equating convertible score according to the difference of standard error, employing the linear equating, unsmoothing·smoothing equipercentile equating with using Equating program Rage fat 2.01, the equating convertible score was analyed from the analysis the conclusions were obtained as follows. First, among the equating verification methods of 4 cardiovascular respiratory endurance tests for male students, the method of equipercentile equating and linear equating showed the lowest equating standard error respectively at the equating parameter of 1.00. In the equated convertible score, however, the method of linear equating was relatively appropriate. Second, among the equating verification methods of 3 cardiovascular respiratory endurance tests for female students, the linear equating methods with the lowest equating standard error was relatively proper. Third, while the deviation of 4 equating standard errors of male student was relatively low, the deviation of 3 equating standard errors of female students was low at the unsmoothing·smoothing equipercentile, but high in the methods of equipercentile method and linear equating method. Fourth, the optimal equating method among 12 equating methods was found to be linear equating method since interval of all cardiovascular respiratory endurance test showed relatively low equating standard error from 1000m test.
