Value orientations reflect philosophical positions that can be operationally defined within educational settings. Jewett and Bain(1985) classified educational value orientation into the (a) disciplinary mastery (b) self-actualization (c) leaning process (d) social reconstruction, and (e) ecological integration. The research tool used in this study was the $quot;Value Orientation Inventory(VOI)$quot; developed by Ennis and Hooper(1988). The questionnaire was distributed to the subjects after verifying the reliability(disciplinary mastery = .74, self-actualization = .67, learning process = 74, social reconstruction = .69, ecological integration value orientation = 71. using the Cronbach`s method The purpose of this study was to survey and analyze five educational value orientation of dance and physical education teachers. This study was analyzed differences of value orientation by teaching subject matter, teaching experience, school level, c background, college. The subjects of this study were 88 dance and physical education teachers. Statistical techniques to analyze the data were a t-test, a one-way ANOVA, and the Scheffe`s test On the basis of the analyzed data, the following conclusions were drawn: 1. Dance and physical education teachers were highly recognized in the ecological integration and social reconstruction value orientation was the lowest recognized. 2. There was a difference in social reconstruction value origination between middle school teachers and high school teacbers. 3. There were difference in self-actualization ark leaning process value orientation between novice teachers and experienced teachers. 4. Were was no difference between professional college and non-professional college. 5. There was a difference in social reconstruction value orientation between teaching subject matter.
