This study attempted to explore meanings and values of Korean Aesthetics and its relevance with education for young children. Young Children living in Korean society which has been already modernized, do not seem to live in ‘tradition’. They are more familiar with the Westernized culture rather than Korean Tradition. Therefore, schools in this society are required to teach the ‘young"s’ about their original spirit and culture which has transmitted over five thousands years. In Early Childhood Education, the contents of the arts in curriculum do not much include many aspects of Korean tradition but the Western styles of the arts. It is required that teachers and educators in early childhood fields need to purposefully put a lot of energy and time to bring Korea arts and tradition in less plan and daily experiences. However, it is more important to teach aesthetics and arts in the relevance with the concept of ‘life’ which can be understood like meaning of ‘vital energy in arts’ just like very unique forms and contends in Korean traditional cultural. Only through the concept of life and energy in arts, can the young children develop true meaning of Korean aesthetics. Particularly, this study tried to make a connection a concept of ‘vitality of nothing(zero)’ suggested by Kim Ji Ha whose idea of Korean aesthetics has influenced on discourse of aesthetics in Korea, with this idea of young children aesthetic sense emphasized in this study. In addition, this study involved the discussion about which Korean aesthetics seems to more likely focus on ‘vitality and energy’ in the arts, so Korean aesthetic education for children should include more about aspects of spirit and souls in the arts in order for overcome the limitation of westernized arts education.
