The purpose of this study differentiate the art & cultural space and the general program of a cultural place of local community. The art & cultural space in the Incheon Art Platform, has established in Namgu Incheon, as a part of the Supporting Artists and as the Revitalizing the Korean Modern Art. In addition, as a concept of urban planning design and as the Networking between Artists and local residents.
For this study, I analyzed overseas cases for example Tacheles and Kunstlerhaus Bethanien in Germany and P.S.I in U.S.A. and seized the present conditions of the Incheon Art Platform. The advantages that can be gained through these places are as follows:
First, Incheon Art Platform has to support artists and art & cultural program, that is developing the internship program and supporting program for artists. Second, they have to increase the domestic and overseas networking by means of international exchanging program. Third, they have to can be communicated in online and off-line. lately, they have special program for the retraining and reeducation of artists.
