The purpose of this paper is to discuss the diaspora literatures in Romania. In the late of the last century, the painful despotic time, many writers had emigrated and exiled due to many reasons, After 1945, the period of communist, approximately 200 writers (about 12% of the writers in Rumania) had exiled, which was second to none in the Eastern Europe.
We can divide the procession of writers' exile from the political turn-over to the Rumanian revolution in 1989 into three, The first wave is between 1940 and 1950 where Most of the exiles are the right wings such as Mircea Eliade who were diplomacies, And the second wave is between 1960 and 1970. After he traveled China and North Korea, Ceau?escu who temporally spread liberalization announced "The Small Cultural Revolution" in order to stabilize the ideology, And here, the increased idealogical pressure caused the writers to leave the country. And the final wave is 1980s, the last decade of Ceau?escu's dictatorship.
The inspection was very extreme and the prohibition of publication was threatening. The main reason for their final exile was the disdain about human, the cruel terror, and the physical threat. The main topics of the four famous exiled writers are their lives and the problems with regard to writings which were caused by the exile itself. First, Eliade asserted that we should imitate not Ovidius but Dante, because it was meaningful to comprehend the meanings and the eternity which were not seen as sorrow which Ovidius showed by singing the early return to home, but in Dante's La divina Commedia. The second writer, Vintil? Haria emphasized that the two mental points were "exile" and "love". Exile from a paradise was the prototype of human existence.
The topics such as the vain protest against devil, adversity, the painful isolation, and the appeal to arms which were found in Ion Caraion s poetry who had survived Rumanian four dictatorships, are related with inhumanness, corruption, disgrace and a totalitarian society's failure.
The core of "Grupul oniric" which was led by Dumitru ?epeneag was the dream to understand surrealism art which is totally different from something that was unconsciously created. The thought that dream is not dreamed but created is the way of now the group define dreams. But after an exile, the exiled writers changed the language from the mother tongue into that of the exiled country and this is also the topic of the novels. They described the process as accompanied by the discord between the lose of an old identity and the gain of new one by accepting the different culture.
