In a life transition or crisis, women have great potential for faith development and spiritual growth. Christian educators need to recognize these times of high vulnerability and great potential. Women’s faith developmental theories take the major transitions and crises in women’s lives and the major elements in women’s daily experiences seriously. Educators can help women form religious meanings of their daily experiences and discover God’s presence in their lives. Educators can create a personal narrative group in which women can freely express their feelings and share their stories. Educators can help women discover role-models in the Bible and church history and practice women’s liturgies through life’s journey. Through these practices, women can weave a circle of care and healing.
