The educational effects of planting activities in improving color cognition abilities include "the development of sensibility" enhanced through natural and planting activities related to emotional and cognitive development and "the increase of problem solving abilities through adaptability to environment" that has children learn and feel the organic relation between them and living things and, resultantly, acquire adaptability to environment and recognize environmental colors. Furthermore, people experience the process of socialization occurring unconsciously through horticultural activities, and can "improve cooperative human relations" that give the experiences of interaction and exchange. In addition, taking care of plants, people corne to have higher self value and self esteem and increased sense of independence, responsibility, and respect. In this course, they experience the wonders of nature and feel new responsibility and achievement in "taking care of lives" through horticultural activities applying color cognition. Consequently, they can attain "self realization through the enhancement of self consciousness" that increases opportunities for voluntary experiences. Lastly, from planting activities, we may expect "the refining of aesthetic consciousness" that expresses the beauty of colors through the medium of plants and naturally cultivates a beautiful mind, and ultimately "the development of potentials" from childhood based on the above mentioned educational effects.
