The photography is an object for popular use in the society capitalism. Whit the possibility of reproduction everything, it will be an index for some objects. And the photography will be as the most appropriate medium in today as well as in the economic field and culture. However it seems to grasp postmodernism not as a style but rather as a cultural dominant. The objectivity of the photograph and its weight as evidence are no longer regarded as a fact. A conception of postmodernism allows for the presence and coexistence of a range of very different cultures.
Jeff Wall's photographs is like a relation between this culture. And he take on the role of provocateur and expressed his opinion on pictoial issues. He know for his revisionist approach to photography, which offers an alternative path to painting and film-making and seeks to link the history of the pictorial tradition to social structures and contemporary life and art. He depicts modern subject matter with reference to examples from the history of art.
That goes to the beginning of artistic photographs, just having one substance to depict all the other substances. So, it seemed to that he is going to work in the medium of photography, just like the Conceptual Art of the 1960s and 197s. A lot of artist try to do new things said that autonomy in picture.
In the early 1980s, the role of the photograph underwent a fundamental change. Although the Pop Art and Conceptual Art of the 1960s and 1970s had begun to make use of photograph in artistic expression.
