This study has been attempted to find a way to increase management efficiency in hotel businesses by introducing the 6-sigma program that is getting successful results in other businesses.
To achieve the aim of this study, a document study and an empirical analysis were performed simultaneously. The collected questionnaires for the empirical analysis were processed statistically through data coding. The result of the study derived through this process is summarized below.
Firstly, by analyzing the effect the 6-sigma program has on management efficiency, it shows that leadership variables, process management variables and strategic plan variables produce effects in the financial area of the hotel business but only leadership variables and strategic plan variables have effect in the non-financial area.
Secondly, by analyzing the effect management strategy has on management efficiency, it shows that indirect differentiation strategy and cost predominant strategy variables effect both the financial area and the non -financial area, but direct differentiation strategy variables don't effect either one.
Thirdly, by analyzing the effect the 6-sigma program and management strategy have on hotel management efficiency, it shows that in the financial area, it had an effect on process control variables and cost predominant strategy variables but in the non-financial area, it had an effect on strategical plan variables and cost predominant strategy variables.
