Tibet always had possessed fictitious image, which was reconstructed in our head.
In ancient novel, we saw ‘Tu Bod(吐蕃)’ as a barbarian race that is uncivilized but strong. This was what puts on a sight of Sinocentrism (華夷思想).
Tibet in modern novel, which was examined through ‘Mountain’, ‘Shangri-La’, and ‘Buddhism’, is shown with images such as ‘Roof of the world’, ‘Boundary in life and death’, ‘Holiness’, ‘Utopia’, ‘Mystery’, and ‘Peace.’ Inside this, there is even an objective fact, but the sight of Western orientalism and the painful history in ourselves are also melted. We will need to make an effort to see the substance with separating by one step while removing fictitious parts amidst the image that we made.
