We got a great result throughout the studying from 1990 to 2003 nowadays that on the aspect of quality and quantity the excavation of a kind of the various King's tombs, Whando-Sansung(丸都山城) and Kuknaesung(國內城) had a different something. With the huge and big volumes of report it could be the important clues on the point of the written data too.
It was reconfirmed that 'Sohyoung(小兄)', which was called by the engraved letters has the official rank's name of Koguryo. And by knowing Wadang(瓦當) found in the stadium location of Kuknaesung it's possible to guess the 'Musulyeun(戊戌年)' and to figure out the years of making the building with it. In addition, the engraved letters of 'Kichuk(己丑)' which was excavated in Seodaemyo(西大墓) may be the tomb of King Micheon. The tomb was called the number of 211 Chilsungsan grave could be the tomb of King SeoCheon, though.
It was very important gain that this tomb having the engraved letter, 'youngrak(永樂)' was excavated in Cheonchumyo(千秋墓) has been closely related with king Kwangkaeco. The engraved letter, 'shinmyonyeun(辛卯年)' curved in the surface 'Dong-Ryung(銅鈴)' which was excavated in the tomb of Taewang was a distinguished income as this survey. In terms of this standpoint, we can guess that the hot argument will be happened on the problem of the host in the tomb of Taewang in the future.
The form of '#' was appeared in Whando-Sansung, Minjooyuzi, and the Cheonchumyo, which has the same as the appearance among excavations of Kwangkaetowang Howoo(壺?). That is so interesting on this similarity of both.
The meaning of the symbol of this has the various hypotheses. This writter has another guessing that '#' feature appeared in the graves was in as a token of the Kings or a noble class. Anyway, we must think of these problems in some days.
