The Je-joo(濟州) Hae-nyo(海女) is such woman to gather seaweeds and sellfishes to dive into deep sea without no equipments. However from 100 years ago, they worked not only in Je-joo island but also in Korean peninsula and in Japan. When they stay at hometown in Je-joo, they serve their own gods with traditional way. But, when they live and work at alien regions away from hometown, they have to serve the gods which is served by aliens.
For example, the Hae-nyos living at Young-do in Busan serve 'Bon-san Halbae(본산 할배)' and 'Gol-magi Halmae(골매기 할매)' as their guardian gods. And they participates the ceremony to praise the gods to pray abundant harvest in sea and welfare.
This treatise try to analyze the cause why they have to change their guardian gods according to their emigranting from hometown to alien town. The result is that the reason of such change is caused by their social position and the organization of fishers at alien town. The economic, politival causes affect and control Hae-nyos' folk-belief like serving gurdian gods.
