"Liaozhaizhiyi" is regarded as one the best classical literatures in chinese history of literature. But in spite of chinese traditional classic. this ancient novel is involved with many amazing sexual describes which were seldom expressed or forbidden in that classical style of writing. This seems to be the cause of the influence of Ming-Ching dynasty when the sexual passion was admitted as a natural human character by many advanced artists.
This paper 'Sexual viewpoint of 'Liaozhaizhiyi" discusses the sexual idea of "Liaozhaishivi" which is known as an outstanding chinese ancient novel. In fact. there are many kinds of sexual phenomena to be discussed in this novel, but I just focus on the problems of heterosexuality and homosexuality(includes gay and lesbian). Besides, at the final chapter, I discuss the general sexual mood in Ming-Ching dynasty and the special sexual viewpoint of the author of 'Liaozhaishiyi".
In short, the view of sex in "Liaozhaizhiyi" seems to be influenced by the atmosphere of Ming-Ching dynasty, so we can find many open-minded sexual describes which were quite popular in that period. But on the other hand, there are some different sexual viewpoints between Ming-Ching advanced open-minded artists and "Pusongling" the author of 'Liaozhaiahivi".
