The purpose of this study is to examine the application of public policy theory to public policy analysis. Public choice theory can be defined as the economic study of nonmarket decision-making, or simply the application of economics to political sciences. This study is to overview public choice approach and suggest usefulness and limit of public choice approach as a tool of public policy analysis.
