The purpose of this study is to reconfirm the objective of KSCEIT and to devise desirable directions for the journal's future.
This study intends to answer the following questions:
First, does the activity of these three departments (Christian Education Theology, Christian Education System Practice, and Christian Education Information in KSCEIT) maintain the proper balance?
Secondly, does the classified thesis in each department present the goals and the characteristics of their department?
Thirdly, do published theses represent the identification of KSCEIT, in regards to its founding principals?
Lastly, what are the strengths and weaknesses of each department's research activities, and how might their research be improved?
This study suggests following tasks for KSCEIT:
1. To reinforce education technology and educational Information, for the purpose of expressing the Identification of KSCEIT.
2. It is necessary for KSCEIT to aggressively engage interdisciplinary sciences.
3. The traditional christian education context of home, church, school, and society, must be enlarged in order to appropriate the strengths found in cyber educate, home-schooling, and alternative schools.
4. In light of the praxis-oriented properties of christian education, we must work to diminish the discrepancies between theory and practice.
5. We should make more efforts to adjust academic practice in order to accommodate and better study issues which korean society and church will be confronted with in the future into academic issues, such as information ethics, intercultural education, environmental ethics, and globalization.
