The purpose of this research is to suggest human resource developmental ideas in Daegu and the surrounding area.
First, people must show an interest in the graduates who studied social sciences in local universities. For a long time, employment agencies didn't show an interest in these students. As we can see, due to the analysis of employment ratio in the research, most of the policies for employment support are focused on the people who have majored in engineering, biology, chemistry, etc. This trend has made it severely difficult for people who studied the different social sciences to find employment. It is difficult to find employment supporting policies for the students who studied the different fields of social science at universities. The researcher's hope is that this research will be a cornerstone that will provide university students who majored in social science fields at universities fitting employment supporting services.
Second, the researcher made sure that nowadays supply and demand is severely unbalanced in these local areas. It is difficult for the students who have studied social science fields in universities to get jobs. The local middle-sized companies also have difficulty finding good quality employees.
To overcome this matter, employment supporting centers have to find out how to utilize students who have studied different fields in social science. Then it will fix the employment supporting center's role in assisting social scientists find employment.
Third, employment supporting center should run or support job programs, combining the needs of the students and the companies. Universities, which are the main suppliers of human resource, will make and develop various programs for the students looking for employment using the results of this research. For example, they will set up special curriculums or utilize track system relating jobs.
Fourth, if employment supporting centers play a suitable role, it will lead to university restructuring creating infrastructure in universities by demanding human resources. Especially, Organization for Employment of Social Science Committee and Development of Job Related Curriculum will save money for both students and companies, and provide satisfaction for both of them.
In other words, local communities will save a lot of resources owing to related pre-career education and the promise of never ending education. This program will be very helpful to social science majors, university students with a less technological background, if used properly.
