The primary purpose of this paper to describe the grammatical forms of Gyeongbuk dialects in Lee, Sang-hwa's poetic words and the diachronic relation with the nowaday's dialects.
We can find out a little grammatical forms of Gyeongbuk dialect in Lee, Sang-hwa's poetic words. There are the postpositions such as the '-podam' and the '-manchi' in his poetic words. These grammatical forms and the prefinal-ending '-eul-' in his poetic words put to use by native speakers in the nowaday's dialects. There are the imperative final-ending such as '-go' and the interrogative final-ending such as '-k'o' in his poetic words. This final-ending '-k'o' let see complementary distribution with final-ending '-k'a' by co-occurrence with the interrogative pronoun in a sentence. There are the grammatical forms such as '-aga' and '-pogo' in his poetic words. The grammatical form '-aga' is made up by the grammaticalization of lexical morpheme 'gaci-' in the syntactic strcture '-a gaci-' and the form '-pogo' is made up by the grammaticalization of lexical morpheme 'po-' in the syntactic structure '-leul po-'. The Gyeongbuk dialects in his poetic words is an auxiliary structure such as '-go jeopta'. This auxiliary strcture of Gyeongbuk dialects is equivalent to '-go sipta' of Jungbu dialects.
There are the negative structure such as 'an+verb' and the passive structure such as 'gi+i', 'i+i', 'i+ji' in his poetic words. The negative structure such as 'an+verb' is made use of mainly in nowaday's Gyeongbuk dialects. But the passive structure such as 'gi+i', 'i+i', 'i+ji' have been varied the passive structure '-gi-', '-i-', '-ji-' in nowaday's this area dialects. We can find out the words that be made up the word-formation by the peculiar method in his poetic words. The words be made up such as 'X+rop' structure in Gyeongbuk dialects is equivalent to the words such as 'X+ha' structure in Jungbu dialects. But the words be made up as 'X+rop' structure have been maintained mostly in nowaday's this area dialects.
