The primary purpose of this paper is to describe the grammatical forms of Gyeongbuk dialects in Baek, Sin-ae's novels and to compare with nowaday Gyeongbuk dialects. The grammatical forms of Gyeongbuk dialect find mention in Baek, sin-ae's novels of japanese imperialism period. There are the articles and endings in grammatical forms of Gyeongbuk dialect of Baek, sin-ae's novels.
There are the articles as ‘-iga’, ‘-manchi’, ‘-bodam’, ‘-maero’ in Gyeongbuk dialects of Baek, sin ae's novels. The ‘-iga’ is nominative article and the ‘-manchi’, ‘-bodam’, ‘-maero’ are adverbial articles. These articles had been widely used from Japanese imperialism period to nowaday's Gyeongbuk dialects. There are the conjunctive ending as ‘-agajigo’, ‘-agajugo’, ‘-aga’, ‘-mae’, ‘-eugo’ in grammatical forms of Gyeongbuk dialect in Baek, sin-ae's novel. The conjunctive ending ‘-aga’ is made by the grammaticalization ‘gajigo’ in ‘-a gajigo’. These conjunctive endings have been widely from Japanese imperialism to nowaday's Gyeongbuk dialects.
There are final endings as ‘-ngio’, ‘-ngapda’, ‘-so’, ‘-no/na’, ‘-go/ga’, ‘-duma’, ‘-sae’ in Gyeongbuk dialect of Baek, sin-ae's novels. The interrogative '-ngyo' is made by reduction of ‘-ngio’. The grammatical forms ‘-ngio’ and ‘-ngyo’ are used widely in Gyeongbuk dialect of Japanese imperialism period. But the form of ‘-ngyo’ is used only in a nowaday's Gyeongbuk dialect. The final ending ‘-ngapda’ is made by grammaticalization of auxiliary verb ‘boda’ in the structure of auxiliary ‘-nga boda’ of standard language in the central districts. The final ending ‘-ngapda’ conjugate as forms of ‘-ngabae’, ‘-ngapse’, ‘-ngapne’, ‘-ngapso’, ‘-ngapje’, ‘-ngabaeyo’ in nowaday's Gyeongbuk dialect. The interrogative final ending ‘-no/na’, and ‘-go/ga’ complementary distribution by co-occurence of interrogative pronoun in Gyeongbuk dialect. The final ending ‘-duma’ has been reconstructed from deletion structure of ‘-go ha-’ in originally structure. After all the Gyeongbuk dialects in Baek, sin-ae's novels are connected largely nowaday Gyeongbuk dialects. But the Gyeongbuk dialects in japanese imperialism period have been changed partially the grammatical forms.
