The purpose of this study is to investigate what is the efficient training method to muscular strength increase with lesser burden on the blood vessel of the heart when exercising muscular strength training of uniform motion through measuring causes of changes related to muscular skill and the function of the heart and the lungs in accordance with 4 kinds exercise programs of uniform motion by diversifying arrangement orders of intensity within each contraction using eccentric and concentric of exercising uniform motion training. The subjects of the study are men of the latter years of 20s without joint disease history of the lower part of the body and exercise impediments. The concentric and eccentric strengths of knee muscle of the subjects were measured by CYBEX NORM, and the results of the study from the function change of the heart and the lungs when measuring muscle strength of uniform motion by the Vmax229 and the apparatus on the heart and the lungs are like follows: 1. Even the burden of concentric exercise was the maximum when testing muscle strength of uniform motion and the burden of eccentric exercise was at most 70% strength to adjust output of the numerical value of muscle strength, peak torque and total work marked the highest value when putting in operation with the method of eccentric high to low strength 2. In case of oxygen intake volume, eccentric C group, D group method showed lower value than concentric A group, B group method, and the value order of 4 kinds exercise methods was C group, D group, B group, and A group. 3. In case of oxygen intake volume per weight, eccentric C group, D group method showed lower value than concentric A group, B group method as well, and the value order of 4 kinds exercise methods was C group, D group, B group, and A group. 4. In heart rate case, eccentric C group, D group method showed lower value than concentric A group, B group method, and the value order of 4 kinds exercise methods was D group, C group, A group, and B group. 5. In breathing exchange ratio case, eccentric group, D group method showed lower value than concentric A group, B group method, and the value order of 4 kinds exercise methods was D group, C group, B group, and A group. 6. In case of energy consumption volume, eccentric C group, D group method showed lower value than concentric A group, B group method, and the value order of 4 kinds exercise methods was C group, D group, B group, and A group. According to the result of the study, among 4 kinds of exercise burden methods, concentric [A (con high→slow) group, B (con low→high) group] method showed higher value than eccentric [C (ecc high→dow) group, D (ecc low→high) group] method in all cases of heart rate, oxygen intake volume, oxygen intake volume per weight, breathing exchange ratio, and energy consumption volume by uniform motion training on the whole. Eccentric [C (ecc high→slow) group] showed the highest numerical value among them. From the results like above, the conclusion of the study is that eccentric method is more efficient than concentric one between uniform motion training methods in respect of the function of the heart and the lungs, that is, heart rate, oxygen intake volume, oxygen intake volume per weight, breathing exchange ratio, and energy consumption volume imposing lesser burden.
