We can't attach no importance to the locality in the Korean classical literature, also deal it as having a great value to go beyond the legitimacy of Korean literature.
The local literature as the subordinate position of Korean literature has the locality. Sometimes it meets on a common ground with Korean literature, on the other hand it doesn't have the same views each other.
The local literature has been relative to the language of the residence in general, but the Chinese poetry in Korea doesn't. Because the classical literature in ancient Asian nations written in Chinse Characters has the same literary grammar, so the local literature doesn't have the features distinguishing between the local literature from the another ones. But since the local literature written in Chinese Characters deals with the local materials, someone thinks it has a strong locality on the contrary. Therefore the local literature written in Chinese Characters deals with the local materials can be dealt with the local literature.
There are many accounts to establish the category of the local literature in the Chinese poetry in Korea. In spite of the place of the writer's birth is not the same place of his residence, if he compose the works dealing with the local materials, they have the locality. The works which have the love to the local materials, and have the dialectal expressions, touch the residence to the heart owe to dealing with the intimate materials.
