The legends tend to be restructured in the relationship with regional community while brand new legends could be created by enhancing existing legends. The foundation of the traditional of legend as well as position of legend inheritance system is subject to change in accordance with regional community's political and social consensus. For example, Scholar Wangin’s legend is more attractive rather than grand master Dosun’s legend since Confucianism is more dominant than Buddhism as common ideology. More specifically, Scholar Wangin known as both the representative of Baekje and the key personnel of cultural exchange between Japan and Baekje, is even more efficient to improve local festival into something Korean and global.
Briefing the value of local culture of hero’s legend, both grand master Dosun’s legend and Scholar Wangin’s legend have the worth not only in sense of local culture and regional literature but also in sense of cultural industry resource and local culture education resource.
