The aim of this study of works and life of the 1920's representative poet, Lee sang whoa, especially this thesis is use the theory of the positivism. here, positivism is inclusion society, period and political mean. and inclusion criticism of Humanistic. poet Lee sang whoa life is 1901-1943. poet work is total 63 poems. his work is early poem is tendency to write romantic and fantastic poems may be typified by such works as "A sigh of a corrupt age" ''To my bedroom" etc. After his involvement in resistance after 1924, we find poems of a different tendency, such as "The lamentation" "The illness Korea" "A wait for a rainstorm" and "Spring comes to a deprived field" Lee sang whoa is discover motherland 1923. after his poem is change from nihilism or decadence to realism or patriotism.
Lee sang whoa's poem is be loved. because his middle and later poem is song of spirit nation and spirit resistance. between his poem, especially ''To my bedroom""don't farewell" "Spring comes to a deprived field" is forever read and recite poems.
