Discussions on property have been actively made also in France since the revolution, and property ideology faces enormous change through the civil revolution. Now the property has transformed into the modern property ideology having only pure economic meaning, from the feudal land ownership having the social meaning instead of the dual structure of the owner and the farm and the pure economic private ownership. Also in Germany, since the 18th century there has been a movement to try to change the property ideology affected by the natural law ideology and the enlightenment, but this movement didn't come into effect because of the immature economic conditions until after the middle of the 19th century. By this we can estimate that in Preussen in the late 18th century and the early 19th century was 'a from-the-above revolution' by the government with the still remaining feudal social structure and property.
In Germany they take the opposing position showing the social role the churches have performed so far about the nationalization and selling of the church property done by the French revolution government. What Germans considered more threatening here was the general challenge to the feudal class. This becomes more obvious when it is being confirmed in the process that the real people abolish the privilege of the feudal class while experiencing the French revolution.
Moreover, German civil class still wanted to maintain the previous property ideology by observing the revolution and its outcome that take place in the neighboring countries. As such, the issue of property has been actively discussed in the German press around 1800, when faced with the problem of applying it to the reality, the German civil class assumed their conservative attitude, which ist well reflected in German history.
