This study is designed to see if there is a correlative difference in the interior design of child-care centers, depending on who establish them and what types of their building. The questionnaire survey was conducted in 126 teachers who have worked for child-care centers in Jinju. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheff-test and stepwise regression. The major findings were summarized as follows :
1. In the result of evaluating their interior design comparing with the ideal facilities, While the level of their evaluation on porch and nursing room were high, the level of teacher's room was low. In their satisfaction on the current facilities, they were satisfied the most with kitchen, whereas the lowest with teacher's room
2. The data were analyzed to see if there is any differences in the evaluation of the environment, depending on types of establishment and their building. As a result, the level of the interior design was effected greatly by types of the establishment rather than by types of their building.
3. In the analysis of the extent of their environmental satisfaction, the result showed that there were correlative differences in the satisfaction by types of the establishment; While those working in corporation's center were satisfied the most with their facilities, those who working in the centers attached to church were satisfied the lowest. In the contrast, types of building didn't showed any correlative differences in the satisfaction.
4. The variables which had great effect on the satisfaction were shown as space characteristics, facilities characteristics and furnishing characteristics. In the case of the center being located in apartment complex, their satisfaction was lower than that of the teachers working in the center of detached house. In the satisfaction on teacher's room, those who working in the private center were satisfied lower than those in the public center.
