This study recently compared the cases of cosmetic small and medium-sized enterprises in ESG management. Sustainable management is now a must, not an option, and it is a management direction that should be a common goal worldwide for the survival of mankind. The government is also making efforts to prepare practical institutional support policies so that SMEs can approach ESG management in a phased and systematic manner. It provides basic data to understand and compare sustainability, and the ESG management status in the cosmetics industry is significant. By comparing the cases of Cosmetics SMEs according to the ESG management perspective, the analysis was conducted by considering the similarities and differences with Cosmetics large companies. It is necessary to establish a plan to promote the introduction of ESG by small and medium-sized companies working with large companies affected by ESG, establish a cooperation system for large and small companies, and prepare an ESG win-win cooperation infrastructure that allows organic cooperation and monitoring to promote common ESG activities. ESG standards should consistently establish government systems and policies, and as research by sector on ESG indicators, detailed research on evaluation indicators is needed from various perspectives such as industry, company size, region, and implementation stage. In addition, a more effective ESG evaluation index system could be established if in-depth research is conducted on evaluation indicators that allow discretionary selection in consideration of the characteristics of the environment faced by SMEs. Based on this, it is hoped that K-beauty"s competitiveness will be strengthened through ESG management of domestic cosmetic companies and that it will demonstrate its capabilities in the global market in the future to lead the cosmetic industry.
