This study attempted to provide basic data to help sports facility managers and sports participants build a safe sports environment by checking the difference between groups and the amount of injuries and the environmental factors of the injury site and the situation before the injury (behavior). Among the 11,745 people who participated in the "2019 Sports Safety Accident Survey" survey, 7,725 people who experienced injuries were analyzed for frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, independent sample t-test, correlation analysis, and simple regression analysis. According to the results of the study, first, among the environmental factors of the injured place, there were significant differences in facility management status, safety facility installation, non-slip floor, appropriate brightness, and appropriate temperature. Second, among the situation (action) factors before the occurrence of injury, there was a significant difference in whether environmental risk factors were identified, flexibility-related warm-up exercises were conducted, and safety manual confirmation (help). Third, it was found that the environmental factors of the injured place had a negative (-) effect on the degree of injury and the amount of occurrence. Fourth, it was found that the situation (behavior) factor before the occurrence of injury had a negative (-) effect on the degree of injury.
