Asia occupies a very important position in world mission in the 21st century. The Asian continent occupies 29.4% of the earth’s land area, with a total population of about 4.64 billion in 46 countries by the end of 2021. It accounts for about 60% of the world’s population, and its two most populous countries are China(1.4 billion) and India(1.4 billion). The combined population of the two countries is 2.8 billion. In addition, various religions coexist in Asia. Primitive religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Shintoism, and Christianity coexist, through persistent interreligious conflicts. Recently, as antipathy towards Christianity has grown, the number of regions that do not issue missionary visas or expel missionaries is also increasing rapidly. In this situation, I am going to propose mission partnerships between the Korean Methodist Church (KMC) and the United Methodist Church (UMC) for more effective missions in Asia. To this end, I first describe reflections and prospects on KMC Mission in Asia, and then propose eight specific areas that KMC and UMC can practice mission partnerships.
