This paper examines phenomenological reasons embodied in Oh Kyu-won’s only solo collection of poems, 『Car in the Tree』, and studies ways to show various worlds to children’s readers. Along with Oh Kyu-won’s inequality, we pay attention to the phenomenological perspective that emphasizes conceptualization unique to children’s readers and unbiased transparency at the same time. It examines Oh Kyu-won’s relationship with the contemporary world, his view of purity, his perception and argument of contemporary literature, and how his criticism of contemporary literature was presented based on Oh Kyu-won’s perspective and perception. This confirms that his view of innocence in childhood had a significant impact on the characteristics of his later poem ‘Nalimae’ as well as his contemporaries. It also analyzes phenomenological thinking depicted along the ‘road’ and examines how it connects to simultaneous thinking. Children’s readers are in a state before they are privatized or conceptualized. This means that children’s thoughts can be extended to the wider world in various ways. It is expected to be helpful in terms of mixed research between phenomenology and the genre of children and youth literature while phenomenologically examining the pattern of realizing contemporary times in Oh Kyu-won’s simultaneous collection of children and youth literature.
