This writing examined aspects that ‘appropriation’ is applied to textbook activity - appropriation is regulated as goal of reading. And the writing suggested content of ‘appropriation’ necessary for learners. To this end, the author analyzed activity related to ‘appropriation’ shown on <A small ball shot by dwarf> listed most among 12 kinds of ≪literature≫ textbooks distributed to high schools after 2012. Appropriation is a concept used as these-‘through dialogic relationship, to figure out reader’s existence consciousness.’, ‘based on reader’s thinking, to re-construct meaning of text.’, ‘through relationship with the others, to complete social internalization.’, ‘to recognize problem of social structure in critical way and understand modern cultural phenomena in critical way.’ etc. The writing reviewed structural aspect and aspect in content of appropriation shown on textbook activity. In the process, the author figured out problem of appropriation activity and embodied implementation method of appropriation as ‘the view of present time’, ‘emphasis on internal dialogism in process centered’, ‘pursuit of critical recognition about community society’ etc.
