We go through the COVID-19 pandemic, which reminds us of one thing that humans are not living alone, but living together. In other words, human beings are interdependent beings. COVID-19 makes us come to know that we are living with others how deeply we are connected. Despite we have to livein a society where one person’s pain becomes everyone's pain and one person’s recovery becomes the hope of the community, in the era of COVID 19,we are making the society we live in a more dehumanized and devastated place by hatred, condemnation, and discrimination against specific people rather than a biological virus (The COVID 19). Through this research, I intend to examine criticism and reflection on individualistic and selfish behavior in the era of COVID-19, and the ethical consciousness for the common good that we should have, and the right relationship with others. We live in an era with the need of an ethic of responsibility and consideration for others rather than acts with duty or with obligation. Ethics to understand the lives of our neighbors and consider their lives is the most necessary value for us living in the era of COVID-19. Beyond the burden, the duty and the consciousof others with that we must do for a society living together, we must have ethics that confirms for the common good voluntarily. We need community ethics based on responsibility, compassion, solidarity and service to overcome COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, I am going to seek out community ethics that aims for the common good that gets out of selfishness and considers others to live together.
