The aims of this study is to firstly understand the description of Pyongyang standard language intonation and secondly to reveal the objective facts that do not change even when viewed from different perspectives compared to the Pyongyang standard language intonation description and the Seoul standard language intonation description. Therefore, this paper investigates the prosodic unit and structure of Pyongyang standard language, as well as its word intonation and sentence intonation. The results are as follows. The North Korea and South Korea share the same composition of prosodic units above syllable. On the division of prosodic units, the North Korea divides prosodic units from syntactic-semantic units and prosodic units, which can be regarded as a new perspective. In addition, in the study of Korean intonation in the North, based on the rhythm, the composition principle and structure of Korean prosodic unit are explained, and the word intonation of Korean is analyzed with various variation conditions. In the analysis of the intonation pattern of Korean sentences, a comprehensive analysis method is used to explain the overall structure of Korean intonation.
