This review first examined the principles of worship and practices that appeared in the literature of the Presbyterian Church in Korea before the Liberation from the early days of missionary work. And from this analysis, the theological attitude toward worship and the implementation of important elements of worship that should be applied to the worship field of the Korean church were proposed. The documents related to the worship service of the Presbyterian Church in Korea pointed to the sincere faith, personal reflection, and ethical life attitude of the worshiper as important factors. It also emphasized the importance of community gatherings for worship and that the composition and order of worship should be logically aligned. On the other hand, also learned that various and detailed example sentences about prayer and Bible reading have been added. Based on this analysis, the writer presented as the principle aspects of worship that should be applied and developed in the Korean church, the glory of God, the Christ’s Ministry, the inspiration and experience of the Holy Spirit, the structure of revelation and response, the method of communication and participation, preparation for repentance and reflection, a life of sanctification and devotion. Then, as important elements of worship, creativity at the beginning, the necessity of confession of sins, flexibility in practicing the Creed, the use of the Lord’s Prayer and the Ten Commandments, the importance of reading the Bible, giving meaning to the sending part, and strengthening the structure of the Sacraments were proposed at the practical level.
