This study is a study of religion, which is an important part of human life, and religion is a group gathered around one faith, but it is not a group formed solely for the purpose of the religious sector. In particular, for migrants, religion is an important group that can form new social capital in the migration site. This study surveyed 309 Koreans living in the United States to find out about the religious life of Koreans in the United States by comparing the motivational analysis of Protestants and Catholics who consider the same divine object as the subject of faith and what factors affect religious maturity. As the main result, language communication was analyzed as the factor for Catholic believers to participate in the religious community, and Protestant believers were analyzed as the highest motivation for life exchange. Overall, in the case of Catholicism, formal aspects such as the number of years of faith, satisfaction as a believer, and understanding of holidays were analyzed to affect religion, and in the case of Protestantism, practical and active aspects such as social participation affect religion. Since it is a self-evident fact that religion is an important part of the Korean-American society, it is necessary to find new ways to suit each sect in order to become more active and increase solidarity.
