The purpose of this study is to suggest a direction for future researches by analyzing the research trends of papers related to the tourism crisis published in domestic tourism journals in Korea. Specifically, KCI of the National Research Foundation of Korea collected papers related to the "tourism crisis" from 2001 to 2022, and among them, 32 papers that studied tourism attractions and the tourism industry were finally selected. Keyword network analysis and visualization were conducted the contents of 32 papers. To summarize the analysis results, the key words of ‘tourism policy’, ‘COVID-19’, ‘tourism industry’ and ‘crisis management’ were derived. In particular, it was confirmed that researches related to COVID-19, which was an unprecedented crisis, were most actively conducted. It also presents the need for expansion of research related to tourism crisis, such as classification by type of tourism crisis, long-term and short-term crisis management strategies, and impacts and countermeasures on tourist, tourism attractions and tourism industry. In other words, it is necessary to conduct preemptive researches to prepare for tourism crises and researches on tourism crisis management strategies for each tourism industry. Finally, the study suggests more empirical researches on tourism policies and systems that can promptly and systematically respond to tourism crises.
