This study investigated the reliability and preference of digital generation 2030 of social media beauty advertisements, which have emerged as new virtual influencers due to COVID-19 and privacy problems of human influencers. Through this, it was intended to present the necessary basis for preparing a plan to use virtual influencer for marketing more efficiently. To this end, an Internet survey was conducted for people in their 20s and 30s through the Survey Act from January 29, 2022 to February 28, 2022. A total of 176 questionnaires were used for the final analysis, and the statistical processing of the reliability and preference of consumers in the 2030 generation of virtual influencer"s SNS beauty advertisement was conducted using the SPSS WIN 24 program. Factor analysis and regression analysis were conducted to investigate the reliability and preference of SNS beauty advertisements of virtual influencer. To understand the effect of the attributes of SNS virtual influencer on repurchase, the attributes of SNS virtual influencer are classified as attributes, preferences, and reliability. The study found that the characteristics of virtual influencer were categorized into four factors: likability, affinity, trend, and usefulness; preference was categorized into three factors: product preference, recommendability, and purchasing. Among them, it has been confirmed that the characteristics of the virtual influencer have a significant effect on reliability and that reliability has a significant effect on repurchase. It was found that the higher the likelihood, affinity, and usefulness of SNS virtual influencer, the higher the reliability, and the higher the resale. Based on this, discussions and suggestions were included on the impact of the reliability and preference of the SNS beauty advertisement of the virtual influencer on virtual influencer marketing.
