The main purpose of this study is to propose a more practical policy alternative in promoting local science and technology policy, focusing on the policy implementation side. For this purpose, a matching map was prepared to check whether science and technology projects are compatible with Gyeonggi province policy direction. The analysis results are as follows. Gyeonggi-do needs to establish innovative governance to operate policies and projects effectively, and it is necessary to promote science & technology project of the 4th industrial revolution in order to overcome various social and environmental problems. The government should prepare plans to strengthen innovation cluster in Gyeonggi. In particular, there is a need for a policy support program that can move beyond the Death Valley to become a mid-sized company after technology start-up. Lastly, cultural projects should be continuously promoted to promote science and technology and improve citizens’ awareness.
