Recently, IT SMEs are concentrating on securing hardware and infrastructure for the continuous development of their own solutions while striving to secure core technologies are doing. However, despite such active efforts to secure internal competitiveness, there are situations in which it is not possible to secure a growth engine through activities such as inter-company or industry-university-research cooperation, so that achievements such as acquisition of core technology and corporate growth cannot be achieved. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to verify the influence relationship between IT SMEs" capabilities, cooperation methods, and corporate performance, and to verify whether there is a mediating effect between the capabilities and performance of IT SMEs according to the cooperation methods.
As a result of the study, it was confirmed that only human resource competency had a positive(+) effect on the intercompany cooperation method of IT SMEs, and it was confirmed that all competencies have a positive(+) effect on industry-university cooperation It was confirmed that inter-cooperation affects the growth of companies, and industry-university cooperation affects technological innovation. In the mediating effect of the cooperative method, the mediating effect of the cooperative method between companies was found between technology development capability and corporate growth. In most cases, the mediating effect between the corporate performance and the cooperative method was shown, but the mediating effect between human resources and corporate growth was not found in the industrial-educational cooperation. Based on these results, it is believed that IT SMEs will be able to increase their performance by expanding their cooperation while satisfying their own instincts to protect technology, and it is necessary to actively promote technology and manpower-oriented cooperation through mediation according to cooperation methods. However, since the effects on corporate performance are showing different results depending on the cooperation method, it is necessary to actively consider adopting and promoting a cooperation method that takes into account the capabilities and business direction of the company in the future.
