This study examines the aspects of the new words that include syntactic units and the formational characteristics of these words focusing whether or not they follow the syntactic principle. There are various forms of new compound words are participated in inflection forms, prenouns, adverbs, but not all compound words are combined according to the syntactic principle. In this sense, it is reasonable to assume that the words that contain syntactic units are formed in the Lexicon. The fact that the words involved in the syntactic unit appear as new words suggests that these words have synchronism. The combination of words with syntactic units is very diverse, making it difficult to find regularity and predictability. Therefore, words with syntactic units appear to be formed through the process of analogy. A new word is formed by replacement using existing word as the source word. The Lexical Connection in the Lexicon expands because it creates a new word by replacing part of the source word with another lexical element and a new word having a semantic relations with the source word. The lexical elements to be replaced are not always the same word class as the parts of the source word, share the phonological properties, syllables structure or the same number of syllables. The new word which does not use the existing word as a source word makes a word group forming a new Lexical Connection.
