The purpose of this study was to help prevent chronic diseases of the elderly and improve their quality of life by investigating the effects of feedback breathing exercise with aquatic functional balance exercise on kinematic breathing function and balance abilities and gait abilities in older patients with dizziness. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 64 elderly women at C located in N city, Chungcheongnam-do, were selected at random and allocated 16 elderly women each for the Control group (CON), Feedback Respiration Exercise group (FREG), Aquatic Functional Exercise group (AFEG), Feedback Respiration & Aquatic Functional Exercise group (FAEG) and measured kinematic breathing function and balance abilities and gait abilities before and after the experiment. The data obtained from this study were analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 statistical program and two-way repeated ANOVA was used. The conclusions obtained through this study were as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the change of kinematic breathing function according to feedback breathing exercise with aquatic functional balance exercise, FAEG and FREG was significantly improved compared to CON and AFEG. Second, as a result of analyzing changes in balance ability according to feedback breathing exercise using aquatic function balance exercise, it was not improved in all variables. Third, as a result of analyzing the change of gait abilities according to feedback breathing exercise with aquatic functional balance exercise, FAEG and AFEG was significantly improved compared to CON and FREG.
