We studied the effects of FJH-KO on osteoarthritis-related mechanisms in SW982 cells and primary cultured rat cartilage chondrocytes. 20, 100, and 200 μg/mL of FJH-KO were treated on H₂O₂ or LPS-induced cells. mRNA expressions of aggrecan, collagen type Ⅰ, Ⅱ, MMP’s, and TIMP’s were analyzed by real-time PCR. Expression of inflammation and apoptosis–related proteins was analyzed by western blot. TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, PGE₂, and NO levles were analyzed by ELISA.
