The purpose of this study is to suggest a design plan for elementary physical education classes appropriate to the goals of the 2015 revised physical education curriculum. To this end, this study presented analysis of curriculum, standards, preocedure and contents for teaching competency in 5th grade competition area. Using bottom-up approach, this study proposed a physical education class design plan that applies the competence of subject and general theory which appropriate to the instructional intention, plan, and achievement standards. These courses will provide an opportunity to enhance understanding of the 2015 revised physical education curriculum. Moreover, it will expand the values and goals pursued by the curriculum through elementary physical education classes. In the future, various competency-centered physical education class design plans should be presented, and these will be further expanded through the process of sharing physical education class plans.
