J. Haidt criticized the rationalism model in moral psychology and suggested the Social Intuitional Model. The concept of social intuition provides adequate explanatory model regarding human moral judgment and action by emphasizing moral emotion and socio-cultural contexts and environments. The social intuitional model is related to MFT(Moral Foundation Theory) that humans are inherently born with a moral nature. According to a MFT, humans form morality through learning within social cultures based on their innate moral nature. The social constructivism presented in cultural psychology can be explained by co-constructivism that is composed as the first draft of moral minds of humans interact with social culture. On one hand, Moral Foundations do not have complete modularity that can morally appear on their own and J. Haidt can be criticized for overlooking the various elements demanded in the formation of morality. Also, the concept of ‘social intuition’ has limitations to overlook the role of reason and moral reflection in moral judgment and moral action. And there is a limit that concept of ‘social intuition’ cannot explain morality as a normative norm by descriptively presenting morality. Haidt's concept of ‘social intuition’ gives us a task that the domain of morality should expand in moral psychology and moral educational practice should take into account both human nature, reason and emotion.
