As the post-modern trend in art has accelerated, which caused the production of artworks that cannot be fully expressed in a single cultural space and the spread of valuing the quality life across the majority of the society due to the increase of national income and interests in leisure time, the need for a complex cultural centre to enjoy various cultural and artistic works in one place has emerged. Although these complex cultural centres serve as landmarks that are weaved into urban structures and are important facilities that have to connect the facilities within the architecture and other various facilities in the city, the existing complex cultural centres are formed with one leading central facility with the rest of the facilities serving it to the extent where they can be classified in specific functional types. This type of spatial composition raised questions whether it can only be formed by relying on the central facility and whether it actually portrays the true meaning of “complex” by being the facility that influences the identity of the local culture and economy. It was also clear that the danger of decreased numbers of people using the central space, which is influenced by the trend, social awareness, current COVID-19 pandemic, etc., is a factor that influences not only the single architecture but also the local economy. Therefore, by applying Rhizome theory, which is characterized by decentralization, deconstruction, etc., instead of having one central facility, having multiple flexible central facilities with paths that would cause unexpected encounters that would hopefully encourage more exposure to various artistic and cultural programs. Furthermore, this research can hopefully be the basis of research in various spatial elements in complex cultural centres with Rhizome spatial features in the future.
