Factories and industrial facilities, which were built around cities in the past in the process of industrialization, are places that have contributed greatly to the development of the domestic economy. However, as the modern social structure changes, the existing production-oriented areas have been transformed into consumption-oriented areas, and naturally, industrial complexes built in the past are often neglected or demolished, requiring suitable improvement measures. This study aims to pay attention to K-POP content, which is the center of cultural Hallyu among various cultural contents. The purpose of the study is to conduct a discussion on the K-POP-based complex cultural space, especially the space that regenerates old industrial facilities, which has not been discussed before. To this end, the necessity of converting old industrial facilities into a complex cultural space and various benefits and cultural regeneration values that may appear by combining K-POP contents, the center of the cultural Korean Wave, were identified, and the use and value that could be actually created by analyzing cases was expected. Considering the possibility of a "K-POP complex cultural space" based on the value of the complex cultural space identified in this study and the performance of the K-POP industry, old industrial facilities can be rediscovered in terms of new industries. In addition, the "K-POP Complex Cultural Space" will be an important proposal as a new music-oriented complex cultural space as it will add the symbolic meaning of the K-POP cultural industry taking over the baton of the old industrial facilities that were responsible for the economy of Korea.
