Currently, as individual lifestyles change, there are a lot of lack of accommodation facilities that can satisfy the spiritual and cultural needs that are appropriate for the place and time rather than a standard standard hotel. Accommodation facilities are classified in a wide variety according to the location of the facility, purpose of use, facility level, and period of stay. Among them, capsule hotels have unique characteristics that are difficult to define in the general category of accommodation facilities. Capsule hotels are particularly active in Japan, but the first capsule hotel in Korea was recently applied as the most active accommodation facility in the transfer hotel at the airport. Transit hotels can be said to be facilities located in places with good access to places related to follow-up activities when sleeping and showering are necessary for unavoidable reasons. As such, a capsule hotel is a lodging facility named according to its structural characteristics and may be far from the type of hotel discussed academically. It is highly likely to be used as a space that provides several hours of rest, rather than being used for travel, long-term stays, etc. In addition, it is considered to be suitable as a hotel for short-term stay, which is a temporary nature. As a space that provides several hours of rest, it raises the need to present standards by reorganizing the space composition of the capsule hotel to suit the purpose.
