Climate change affects fruit growth and development. Temperature is considered the most important atmospheric factor. Protein is an important key in fruit growth and development by involving the all processing in cell such as maintaining pH, developing structures, transporting and storing nutrients. However, interaction between climate and protein metabolism has been rarely reported. To investigate the effect of climate change on protein metabolism in pear (Pyrus pyrifolia cv. Niitaka) during fruit growth and development, the temperature of pear orchard, and protein and amino acid content of fruit were measured for 180 days after full bloom (DAFB) for three years (2018-2020).
