지능정보사회의 핵심 기술인 인공지능을 이용하여 실생활의 다양한 문제를 해결할 때 수학을 어떻게 활용하는지 이해하며, 수학의 가치를 인식하고 미래 사회가 필요로 하는 역량을 기르는 것을 목적으로 2021년 고등학교 수학과 교육과정에 <인공지능 수학> 과목이 신설되었다. <인공지능수학>은 2021학년도 신입생부터 고등학교 보통교과의 진로 선택 과목으로 개발되어 공통 과목인 <수학>을 학습한 후 인공지능 분야에서 수학이 어떻게 활용되는지 알고자 하는 학생들이 선택할 수 있는 과목이다. <인공지능 수학>의 내용은 ‘인공지능과 수학’, ‘자료의 표현’, ‘분류와 예측’, ‘최적화’의 4개 핵심 개념으로 구성된다. ‘인공지능과 수학’에서는 인공지능과 관련된 수학, ʻ자료의 표현’에서는 텍스트 자료의 표현과 이미지 자료의 표현, ‘분류와 ...
