The seven-pronged sword(七支刀) bears the letters Baekje(百濟) and Wa(倭). Therefore, it is an important artifact to understand the relationship between ancient Baekje(百濟) and ancient Wa(倭). For this reason, tThe seven-pronged sword(七支刀) have attracted the attention of many researchers since their discovery, and various studies have been underway. However, the interpretation of The seven-pronged sword(七支刀) is still not unified. This is because it is difficult to understand, and even if you understand, it is difficult to clearly understand the meaning.
In particular, the 13th letter on the back is identified as ‘child(子)’ but there is no sign of wear and only a short horizontal line. I can’t see the vertical line even with infrared pictures. Therefore, the 13th character was considered a repeated symbol because it was not ‘child(子)’.
Typically, the repeat sign connects two points(։) from top to bottom(≀). However, it is also simply denoted as ‘-’. Therefore, the 13th character can be viewed as a repeating symbol.
This interpretation shows that the seven-pronged sword(七支刀) were passed between the king of Baekje(百濟王) and the king of Wa(倭王), not between the crown prince(王世子) and the king of Wa(倭王). In other words, the seven-pronged sword(七支刀) were delivered between the king of Baekje and the king of Wa in connection with Baekje(百濟) and wa(倭).
